Meet Mike

Mike has spent about 30 years working on alignment and suspension. He bought Kalispell Alignment & Auto Repair in 2025, but he was not new to it. He had already spent years here, and years before that at another shop in the valley, building the kind of reputation that follows a person around.

It followed him here. At the shop where he worked for a long stretch, everyone knew him as Leapold. Customers still walk in today asking for Leapold, and some of them only know him by that name. It is also where the company name comes from: Leapolds Automotive.

That is the reason for the digital inspections. Instead of a phone call full of terms you did not ask to learn, you get photos of your own vehicle, notes from the technician, and a clear picture of what is urgent, what can wait, and what is in good shape. You decide from there.

Mike was raised in the Flathead Valley and raised his own family here, so the people who bring cars in are neighbors. Outside the shop he is usually outdoors or fishing, and he has a soft spot for the classic cars that roll through the bay.
